Hiding in plain sight...

Although I am a wonderous ball of k-oas and creativity, I must try and disguise myself on an everyday basis.  My life as a run-of-the-mill citizen includes being a full-time student, a photographer, a wife, and a mother of 2.  In fact, with everything I have going on, I am finding it a little difficult to fit in "quality me time" (the chance to cause a little K-oas) at all.  But here is a little more about me and what I do when I am 'hiding in plain sight'.

My family is amazing! My son, Marty, is almost 5. I can hardly believe I have an almost 5-year old! It makes me feel almost ancient! He is soooooooo talkative and full of energy.  I can see that I have passed on the k-otic genes to him.  Saidi, my daughter, is 2 and 1/2.  She is such a drama queen!  She is so flipp'n adorable that it almost makes up for the drama...sometimes! My husband of almost 7 years is my high school sweethear. He totally gets me, and understands that I have 2 very different sides to who I am.  He is the best dad and husband any undercover heroine could ask for!

I am a full time student.  I have been at Stanislaus since Fall 2008, and can hardly wait to finally finish up in the Spring.  Graduation has almost been too long coming, and now I am almost impatient trying to wait for it.  I am considering going on for my Master's degree. I hear that UC Merced is working on letting graduate students create their own program, so I am going to look into one for art.

I love to take pictures. That's my normal job.  I work with families, kids, events, weddings, you name it!  I am really enjoying meeting new people and using my creativity at the same time.  I find that working as a photographer allows me the freedom of going here and there and working on my own schedule, while still being able to help support my family.  I am really excited to see where it will take me in the future!

Other than that, I am just trying to lay low and stay inconspicuous to the rest of the world. We'll see what waits ahead for K-otica the Great!
